THE EFFECT OF PH SOLUTIONS AND STIRRING SPEED ON NICKEL RECOVERY FROM PYROPHYLLITE ROCKS USING FROTH FLOTATION

Nickel is an important element in the metal alloy industry. In Indonesia, nickel resources are found many areas form of rocks such as pyrophyllite. Froth flotation a method commonly used mining industry to extract metals from mineral rocks. However, concentrates yields tend be relatively low. This often influenced by several factors pH solutions and stirring speed process. Therefore, this study aims investigate effect agitation collector concentration on recovery results obtained froth study, variations at 8,9, 10 were used. Meanwhile, was varied 700, 800 900 rpm.
